The next level paper cutter in our product lineup, above the COME®-4700 model, is the COME®-4700 model. It is a very heavy duty and high capacity cutter with a maximum cutting capacity of 400 sheets of 20 lb bond paper and a unit weight of about 52 pounds. In addition to the premium features offered by the COME®-4700 stack paper cutters, the COME®-4700 model has a uni-body design and features a fast flick-action paper clamp. Further, the blade safety lock switch is conveniently located close to the cutting handle and is easy to reach and operate. The maximum cutting width of this model is 12-1/4” wide. The approximate overall size is 19" x 19" x 8".
For paper cutters equipped with metal cutting bases, a common problem is that there may be a gap between the bottom of the back support arm and the metal cutting base. This is due to the fact that metal may expand/shrink slightly due to environment temperature. Consequently, paper sheets may slip through the gap. The back support arm of the COME®-4700 paper cutters is equipped with a special device that either extends or retracts according to the shape of the cutting base to ensure that it seamlessly “curves” with the cutting base.
The blade equipped on the COME®-4700 is made of steel with the hardness grade between 60-62 on the Rockwell Equivalent C scale (i.e., 60-62 HRC).
