COME^®-3700

The next level paper cutter in our product lineup, above the COME^®-2700 model, is the COME^®-3700 model.  The COME^®-3700 cutter is much more heavy-duty than the COME^®-2700 model and the backstop mechanism is designed differently as well. The cutting platform and the back support table of the COME™-3700 desktop stack paper cutter are built using steel alloy of about 3mm thickness.  Each unit weights about 45 pounds (as apposed to 2mm steel alloy and the unit weight of 36 pounds for the COME^®-2700 model).  The backstop gauge and the side paper guard of the COME^®-3700 are machined out of solid aluminum.  With built-in gear-driven mechanism, the backstop gauge fits seamlessly into the gear tracks located on the side paper guard.  By simply push or pulling it, the backstop can be adjusted very quickly.  The backstop gauge can also be adjusted by using the turn knon, which is also made of solid aluminum.  This design is much better than the gearless mechanism used by similar products on the market where the backstop is placed loosely on the side paper guard.

For paper cutters equipped with metal cutting bases, a common problem is that there may be a gap between the bottom of the back support arm and the metal cutting base. This is due to the fact that metal may expand/shrink slightly due to temperature changes. Consequently, paper sheets may slip through the gap. The back support arm of the COME^®-3700 paper cutters is equipped with a special device that either extends or retracts according to the shape of the cutting base to ensure that it seamlessly “curves” with the cutting base.

The blade edge on the COME^®-3700 is made of the best quality tool steel with the hardness grade between 60-62 on the Rockwell Equivalent C scale (i.e., 60-62 HRC). The blade edge is ground with our propriety technique that makes cutting through a thick stack of paper with ease.  Further, the COME™-3700 is equipped with a chromium plated all steel cutter bar adpator. It increases the cutting force by about 17%. In other words, it requires less effort to cut through a thick stack of paper.

As a standard feature, this machine is equipped with an adjustable paper clamp used to lock-down paper stacks thereby eliminating paper movement when cutting. It has the safety feature where the safety latch locks the cutting blade automatically until released.  The maximum cutting width is 12” and the thickness capacity is 300 sheets of 20 LB bond papers.  The approximate overall size is 19.5" x 19" x 7".
